Junior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Deployment and Automation: Implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software releases.

• Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing and provisioning our cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.

• Containerization: Work with Docker for containerizing applications and managing container orchestration.

• Proxy and Web Server Management: Configure and maintain application delivery with technologies like Nginx Proxy.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to establish and enforce best practices for software delivery.

• Monitoring & Logging: Contribute to the setup and maintenance of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.

Must Have:

• Cloud: Familiarity with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC).

• Containerization: Experience with Docker and container fundamentals.

• CI/CD: Practical experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Version Control: Proficient with Git and experience using Git Actions (or similar tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automation.

• Web Services: Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting Nginx Proxy.

• Scripting: Basic to intermediate scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, or similar).

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Attitude: Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within the DevOps field.

Nice to Have:

• Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with any programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go).

• IT Operations: Fundamental knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) or basic Linux/Windows system administration.
