Medical Communication Content Specialist " MCC "

▮ Key Responsibilities:

     ⁜Medical Content Development:

· Create, review, and validate high-quality medical content, including:

· Emailers (scientific HCP emails)

· Detail aids (interactive and print)

· Leave-behinds, MOA visuals, infographics

· Translate complex scientific data into clear, engaging material tailored for healthcare professionals.

· Ensure materials meet client brand tone, compliance standards, and industry regulations (e.g. ABPI, MLR review).

· Support GCMA and local brand teams in developing scientific narratives and core messaging for rare disease brands.

· Contribute to medical communication strategy, medical education, and KOL engagement materials.

· Conduct literature reviews and ensure all scientific claims are supported by credible sources.

      ⁜Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Act as the scientific expert across cross-functional teams (creative, digital, client service).

· Participate in client meetings, MLR reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

· Train and mentor junior medical writers or content specialists.

     ⁜  Quality & Compliance:

· Review all content for scientific accuracy, clarity, and compliance.

· Stay up to date with therapeutic area developments, clinical guidelines, and industry best practices.

· Previous experience running Advisory Boards is a plus.


▮Qualifications:

⁜Must Have 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Ability to translate complex medical information into clear, engaging content.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
